Residence Permit

After arrival to Georgia students have to apply for temporary residence permit of Georgia, 45 days earlier before their visa expires. In order to apply for TR Permit students have to submit:

1.A letter from the university (will be provided by the school)

2.Passport translation into Georgian language and certified by notary (student’s name in Georgian language should be written the same way as in the school letter)

3.Bank statement from any bank of Georgia (showing at least USD 2000, equivalent in Georgian Lari, in his account)

4.Processing fee payment (210 Georgian lari, approximately USD 87)

5.In case of underage students additional Power of Attorneys should be provided (1. stating that parents  authorize a particular person to assist their son/daughter to open bank account as well as to apply for Temporary Residence Permit of Georgia, the document should be duly notarized and apostled/legalized)
